Our Story

Hearts Desire Candle Company was born in 2007 in the back room of our home with a meager 14 fragrances — fueled by small knowledge, big ideas, and an even bigger passion for fragrance. Life has a way of taking unexpected turns, and for a while, the brand went dormant. But great things have a way of coming back stronger.

And come back we did — with more gusto than ever before!

From Back Room to Brick & Mortar

In the Spring of 2024, we opened our first brick-and-mortar location in Calypso, NC. As our community grew and our product line expanded, so did our need for space. In late Fall 2025, we made the exciting move to a larger home in Faison, NC — and we haven't looked back since.

A Family Affair

Hearts Desire is a true family business. At the heart of it all is husband-and-wife team Jimmy and Daniela, supported by their son Alex — and of course, their four-legged supervisor, Finn, who keeps everyone in line.

Every single product we offer is handcrafted right in our store and rigorously tested before it ever makes it to your hands. We believe you deserve nothing less than the best.

More Than Just Candles

Though candles are where it all started (hence the name!), Hearts Desire has grown into so much more. We now offer over two dozen products — from luxurious soaps to beard care products and plenty of wonderful things in between. Whatever your heart desires, we've probably got something that'll make you smile.
